The third annual MFIC Student Scholarship award program spotlights the creativity of students in Maryland’s film programs, and provide financial assistance and mentoring to the finalists as an incentive to continue making films in the state.
Applicants must be an undergraduate student in the state of Maryland and the applicant’s major shall be a degree program in or related to film making.
Student applicants shall submit a short, >16 minutes in length, of their choosing, as well as a short essay as to why they value being able to create and work in Maryland. The short should be submitted to MFIC at mdfilmcoalition@gmail.com with the attached application no later than October 11th.
